We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Utility Surveyor. As a Trainee Utility Surveyor, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills and knowledge required to carry out utility surveys effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to enter the field of utility surveying and contribute to the successful execution of infrastructure projects.

**Responsibilities**:
**Training and Development**:Participate in an extensive training program to learn the fundamentals of utility surveying techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Work closely with experienced Utility Surveyors to gain practical experience and on-the-job training.

**Data Collection and Analysis**:Assist in the collection of data related to underground utilities using various surveying tools and equipment.
Learn to interpret survey data and assist in the preparation of reports for project stakeholders.

**Field Work**:Conduct field surveys under the guidance of experienced team members, adhering to project specifications and safety guidelines.
Develop proficiency in using survey instruments such as ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic locators, and other relevant tools.

**Documentation**:Assist in maintaining accurate records of survey activities, including field notes, data sheets, and project documentation.
Learn to prepare and submit reports detailing survey findings, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

**Communication**:Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and provide timely updates.
Learn to communicate survey results and recommendations clearly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Completed a college course in some for of engineering or construction course or equivalent; a degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Basic understanding of surveying principles or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and tools is a plus but not required.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
