If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are working with a prestigious client in the Newtownabbey area who are seeking a Production Team Leader. The client is a **£210 million turnover multi-site international manufacturing organisation **employing 800 people throughout the UK and Europe. The company supplies specialist plastic

products for the construction, fabrication, print and display sectors worldwide with over 60% of the output exported to distributors and customers in over 70 countries.

**Role**: Production Team Leader

Reporting To: Production/Business Unit Manager

Type: Full-time, Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**

**Supervision**
- Oversee and lead a dynamic workforce for optimal efficiency.
- Execute day-to-day operations with precision, asserting your Production Team Leader expertise.

**Production**
- Efficiently plan, organize, and control all facets of production, showcasing your skills as a Production Team Leader.
- Establish priorities to meet order deadlines.

**Quality**
- Foster a culture of unwavering quality compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain elevated standards, a crucial aspect of the Production Team Leader role.

**Training**
- Ensure comprehensive training for all team members, highlighting your commitment as a Production Team Leader.
- Coordinate training activities with HR/Training Coordinator.

**Health & Safety**
- Uphold safety standards per manuals and assessments, a top priority for a Production Team Leader.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance and PPE adherence.

**Reporting**
- Ensure accuracy in all departmental reporting, a responsibility inherent to a Production Team Leader.
- Keep records up-to-date for various criteria.

**Housekeeping**
- Maintain impeccable standards of housekeeping, reflecting the diligence of a Production Team Leader.
- Adhere to Company TPM and 5S practices.

**Communications**
- Maintain effective communication with the management team.
- Keep the team informed and briefed on tasks, as expected from a Production Team Leader.

**People Management**
- Ensure compliance with Equal Opportunity and Fair Employment Policies.
- Manage discipline and conduct quarterly appraisals, key duties for a Production Team Leader.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in high-speed manufacturing, preferably as a Production Team Leader.
- NVQ Level III in Management or equivalent.
- Robust IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Practical experience in planning and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
