Payroll Advisor

**The Role**

In this role you will be an integral part of the Finance Operations Team, processing Monthly and Lunar payrolls for our Head Office and Customer Hub teams through our new payroll system Cintra, reporting directly into the Head of Finance Operations.

**This role can be either part or full time.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**_Monthly and Lunar Payroll to gross pay:_**
- Checking and processing new Starters and Leavers
- Checking and processing all amendments (Bonus Pay, Pay increase, Sickness Etc)
- Checking and processing salary sacrifice schemes and deductions
- Checking and processing sick pay
- Pension processing and support
- Maternity Pay
- Paternity Pay
- Preparation of P11d’s and PSA (PAYE Settlement agreements)
- Supporting HR with ad hoc queries
- Support with continued Payroll project work
- Posting of monthly journal using Oracle
- Balance sheet reconciliations using sure cloud and oracle
- General payroll related queries

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Strong experience of working with Monthly and Lunar Payroll
- Advanced knowledge of Payroll techniques and principles
- Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables)
- Proven experience on resolving discrepancies on pay
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (to include English and Maths grade C)
- Worked in a commercial high volume department
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem solving

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of Cintra Payroll
- Knowledge of Sage HR
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a customer focused environment
- Evidence of strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven strong interpersonal skills
