**About the role**

Working hybrid** **2 set days** a week, as a member of a small team at our head office in** **Hatfield**, the main purpose of the role is to process & deliver a timely and accurate end-to-end Payroll to the Senior Payroll Operations Lead for their final checking and sign-off. This will include employee and manager query handling, all daily operational tasks including third-party payments, reports to the business, supplementary payrolls, variables (incentives, pensions, bonuses, etc), right through to control account reconciliations, whilst managing your own workload. Keeping within the agreed SLA’s you will manage your cases and provide first-class customer service to employees and other stakeholders and ensure adherence and compliance with information security requirements and GDPR requirements.

**About you**

You are experienced in the field of Payroll and have acquired knowledge of payroll processes, controls and current payroll and benefits legislation. You have an eye for detail and you are able to work quickly and accurately, managing your time effectively to ensure deadlines are met. You are CIPP qualified (Associate CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or above) or working towards this. You have a good understanding of the People Team and how the teams link with Payroll, as well as having a good understanding of the different inputs into payroll. You are able to complete complex processes and deal with all types of queries from employees and line managers and will be able to give suitable conclusions when faced with complex situations and can escalate where appropriate. You work well in a team environment and can support during change and challenges.
