Accounts Associate

Storefast Solutions is a dynamic and forward-thinking contract manufacturing, packing and warehousing company for the drinks industry based in Kent. Due to significant growth over the past five years, we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Associate to join our team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are looking for an analytical, motivated person who has strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. The Accounts Associate will assist in various financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks.
- Processing invoices, payments and expenses reports.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, payroll and other creditor accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Collaborate with other department to ensure accurate financial information.
- Deal with problem accounts and play an active role in resolving queries.
- Undertake further tasks as agreed with the Financial Controller.

**Skills**:

- Experience in using accounting software such as Sage and Xero.
- AAT qualified or working towards completing qualification.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

This is a full-time office based role.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
