**Marine Sales and Support Representative**

**UK Wide - **Working from home.**
- Salary: £34,425 to £38,250_

**About the role**

The Marine Sale and Support Representative provides high quality customer service in a timely manner to new and existing clients, providing cost effective solutions for a broad range of inquiries, while maintaining Austal values.

**_Whats on offer?_**
- _ UK home based role, working 40hrs per week._
- Office and work equipment supplied, however working space is the responsibility of the applicant.
- Progression Opportunities

**_ Key objectives & responsibilities include:_**
- Provide and facilitate support and assistance to Austal Commercial customers and commercial fleet.
- Proactive management of internal and external stakeholders around the delivery of agreed outputs.
- Resolution of all sales and support queries within agreed timescales.
- Proactively capture, grow and capitalize on new and existing business.
- Maintain and foster customer relationships.
- Estimation and Quotation creation for support requests.
- Supplier management, including requests for quotations, requisitions, management of supplied parts and where required sourcing of suppliers.
- Maintain and develop a supplier network in the region.
- Provide technical and commercial information back to the business such as to allow accurate reporting and forecasting of business performance.
- Manage the travel of Austal personnel and contractors as and when required.
- Manage the delivery of equipment and materials globally.
- Process invoices for payment and Establish cost codes in the ERP [IFS]
- Ad-hoc administrative support as and when required.

**_ Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**
- Minimum 3 Years’ experience in Sales / Support role
- Business Administration Qualification or similar Sales, Supply Chain or Technical Sales experience
- Customer Service experience
- Budget Control and Schedule adherence, along with the management and control of risk.
- Strong organisational skills, highly flexible and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work from home unsupervised and independently.

**_ Desirable_**
- Marine Systems or Marine Equipment Experience.
- Knowledge of systems engineering standards and processes
- Logistics knowledge and experience
- Experience in shipbuilding and maintenance of commercial and or defence vessels
- Understanding of financial accounting and cost control practices and reporting
- Ability to travel internationally.
