You will be working in a beautiful Children’s home. A detached Cottage Manor and is based in its own manicured grounds. You will need to drive and hold a full, clean driving license to work at this home and offers both part time/full time opportunities and a mix of weekdays, weekends, evening work and overtime if requested for a great work life balance.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Children's Residential Support Worker looking to make a positive change to Children and Young people aged between 8 - 18 years of age who display some behaviour that challenges, autism and EBD. The company is expanding its already successful Children’s Residential Homes, so we are keen to talk to experienced Children's Residential Support Workers or those looking to move into Children's Residential Care looking for a fresh start and a fantastic, rewarding career.

You do not have to possess your NVQ or Equivalent Level 3 in Children and Young People workforce Diploma /Level 3 in Residential Childcare as our client help you achieve this and support you every step of the way and of course, you will already have lots of experience, skills and knowledge of supporting Children and Young People in a working environment.

**Do you have or would you like to have**:

- Experience Supporting Children with EBD, Behaviour which challenges in a Residential Setting
- Experience Working part of a team as well as autonomously
- Person centred care experience
- Decision making skills
- Strong support skills
- Develop Strong leadership skills (potential for Senior role)
- Be able to read triggers and handle various level of Behaviour which challenges
- Ability to respond with compassion with young people
- Patience, Compassion and Understanding
- A true teammate with the ability to work autonomously
- Transferable DBS
- Clean Valid Driver’s License
- Suitable and satisfactory References
- Caring, Understanding, empathetic nature

**Must have**
- Experience, skills and knowledge in the Children’s/ Education/Youth sector
- Experience in supporting Children and young people
- Full UK Clean driving license/ Own your own vehicle
- Transferable/Online DBS (pref)
- Suitable and satisfactory References
