Our client, a leading local employer specialising in water conditioning products that are supplied via plumbing merchants throughout the whole of the UK, is seeking a dynamic Logistics Supervisor to join their team. With a strong track record of year-on-year growth, this is an exciting role with a range of responsibilities within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Logistics Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various processes and optimising warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating production workflow and maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Planning operations to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
- Determining manpower, equipment, and material requirements to meet production demands.
- Assigning workers to operations at scheduled times.
- Monitoring and tracking output information, including the number of finished products and defect percentages.
- Ensuring critical products and materials are kept above minimum stock levels.
- Collaborating with internal customers to ensure companywide engagement and alignment.
- Managing supplier relationships and proactively chasing delivery times.
- Ensuring competitive pricing through successful negotiation.
- Creating accurate GRNs for new stock and delivery notes for outgoing goods.
- Maintaining up-to-date data on company software systems.
- Producing risk assessments for day-to-day warehouse activities.
- Taking a proactive approach to health, safety, and quality measures.

Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented professional with the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Strong process-driven mindset with excellent organisational abilities.
- Ability to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Details:
This position offers flexibility in employment terms and can be considered for permanent or temp-to-perm arrangements.
