**The Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct discovery activities with new prospective tenants and coordinate migration / transition activity with them and the hosting service delivery team, including reporting and managing aspects of the roadmap and alignment of dependencies with tenants.
- Plan and track dependencies between service and tenant, for example keeping prospective tenants up to date with service roadmap to enable effective planning of the optimum time and workloads for migration where dependencies on new service features are identified.
- Produce clear status reports to keep all stakeholder informed of progress, risks, dependencies and issues.
- Customer and service focussed, ability to provide knowledge transfer and support efficient and predictable service delivery.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience of cloud migration and transition activities.
- Experience of Cloud Readiness and Application Modernisation programmes along with physical and virtual migration activities and technologies.
- Experience of digital project delivery into the MOD and/or central UK Government clients.
- Experience of working in defence with exposure to MOD accreditation processes and standards.
- Appreciation of cloud and virtualisation technologies, ideally VMWare.
- Appreciation operating system and core features including Linux, Windows OS, active directory, and windows centric core services.
- Experience in executing process development and change in an evolving service against a defined maturity model.

**Security Clearance Requirements**

**Location**

The role will be required to be onsite in Portsmouth 1 day a week with occasional travel to Horsham.
