**Cyber Security Consultant**

We are currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our established and experienced CIO team here at RSA on a hybrid basis, looking at attending our Horsham office once a week - this can be discussed further at interview stage as we are flexible.

**Your Role**

The Cyber Security Consultant is responsible for understanding the security posture of projects and third parties against agreed baselines and working with the business to ensure that any areas which fall short of our expectations are remediated.

You will be providing guidance to project teams on security standards and best practice to help them deliver outcomes that are secure by design. You will also be reviewing the technical security aspects of solution designs.

You will have an end-to-end view of the security aspect of projects within your remit, proving guidance to project teams on security standards and best-practice to help deliver outcomes that are secure by design. Throughout the design phase you will be reviewing technical security aspects of solution designs and liaising with other teams within CISO, as well as identifying, assessing and documenting security risks. You will also be responsible for communicating these risks to ensure they are understood and signed off by business owners.

**About You**

To be successful in your role as a Cyber Security Consultant you will have experience of reviewing technical security designs and solutions. You will also have knowledge of a broad spectrum of technologies, coupled with the ability to communicate technical requirements in solutions in business terms and contexts.

You will have knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISF, SABSA, OWASP and experience working with major programmes and change projects.

You will have good communication and relationship building skills as you will be interfacing between different functions within CIO.
