**Job Title**: Finance administrator

**Reporting to**: Finance Manager

**Location**: Unit 7, First Floor Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton ,Leeds LS15 9JL

The finance administrator will assist the finance manager with the end-to-end sales ledger process in a timely accurate manner. Establishing good working controls and building relationships with the care homes.

They will assist the Finance Manager in dealing with queries from homes, residents’ families and Local authorities via telephone and management of the Finance inbox. Ensuring the timely upload of queries and returns to Local authorities via a variety of portals.

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Weekly checking of home occupancy and resolving any issues with the care homes
- Daily posting of LA remittances and allocations of monies
- Raise queries with both LA and NHS
- Completing Local Authority payment schedules/returns for payment
- Assist with credit control for both private and LA debt
- Establishing good working relationships with our Care Homes and professional bodies
- Ensuring confidentiality in line with GDPR

**Person Specification**:

- Experience working in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Solid team working skills
- Ability to communicate appropriately, sensitively and maintain confidentiality
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in Excel and Microsoft Office packages
- Knowledge of software packages such as SAGE
