CCU/Oakley is a busy cardiology specialty ward providing cardiac care to the population of Northamptonshire and surrounding regions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a whole time equivalent Administrative Assistant to join the team and we are looking for a hard working, self motivated, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the ward.

The role of an administrative assistant is required to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Lead Nurse, Matron and Ward Sisters ensuring the office is managed and administered efficiently and effectively.

The post holder will be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. They will support the local leadership team in the day to running and pre planning of the departments workforce by undertaking activities such as ; Erostering management, recording and booking mandatory training and co-ordinating new employees, booking of PDRP's and welfare reviews.

Accomplished in effective communication and diplomacy the post holder will be professional and able to interact appropriately and effectively with all levels of staff, ensuring a high level of confidentiality is maintained at all times.
