I am a 58 year old man who lives at home with my parents in Hawick. I have cerebral palsy and require full support with all my personal care and other aspects of my daily needs. I use a stand aide for all transfers, and full training can be given for this if required. I am looking for one or two people to help get me ready for bed in the evenings, and ensure I am comfortable and settled in my bed. My parents will give you full support and instruction with all aspects of my care.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Full assistance with any personal care including my teeth, changing my stoma bag and changing me into my nightwear;
- Safely transferring me into my bed using the Stand aide;
- Ensuring I am comfortable in my bed.
- Tidying up behind you to ensure my room is tidy and safe for my equipment.
- Training will be offered for safe moving & handling, use of the stand aide and care of my stoma.

- You will have a good sense of humour, and be able to use your initiative.

**Hours of Work**

I am looking for assistance every evening between 7.00p.m and 8.00pm.

You can cover all, or some of the evenings around your availability.

**The Terms**
- £11.50 per hour;
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 7 per week

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
