**Salary**: £26,000 - £27,500 + Benefits

Location: Brixton area

Hours: 37.5hpw (Shift rotation)

Mon - Fri with weekends required 1 in 6

8am-4pm

10am-6pm

1pm-9pm

Environment: Outpatient Pharmacy

**Key Responsibilities**:
Come aboard our team as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our Outpatient Pharmacy. We are seeking individuals dedicated to excellence and eager to contribute to patient care.
- Work closely with pharmacy staff, guided by the pharmacy manager, to efficiently handle retail medicines and products, ensuring timely ordering and effective inventory control.
- Identify potential issues in medication administration, such as drug interactions, newly prescribed medications, and factors impacting patient compliance, thus enhancing patient safety.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a high-quality outpatient service, prioritizing patient satisfaction and well-being.
- Dispense prescriptions to patients safely and accurately, following established protocols andprocedures.
- Offer knowledgeable advice to patients regarding medication usage and general healthwithin your scope of competence, referring to a pharmacist when necessary.
- Receive and dispense completed prescriptions under the guidance of the Responsible Pharmacist, providing feedback to the pharmacist on patient information provided orrequested.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for retail products, ensuring the preservation of productintegrity and quality.

**Requirements**:
At least 1 year pharmacy experience
