As a Patients and Goods Porter, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional services to patients, staff, and visitors. In the role, you will be responsible for the delivery of food and beverage, along with other goods and equipment. Your commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment will ensure that our clients are having a pleasant experience while keeping to deadlines and that all deliveries arrive on time. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within associated premises.

**The Role**
- The collection and delivery of patients, furniture, linen, medical gases, medical records, x-rays, pharmacy boxes, specimens, blood products, post, clinical and non-clinical waste, medical equipment and supplies, food and any other items, using appropriate methods of work as directed.
- Assist with the transfer of patients, in accordance with Trust Policy, using for example a Patient slide.
- Collection and delivery of patients, furniture, linen, medical records, x-rays, pharmacy boxes, specimens, post, clinical and non-clinical waste, food and any other items, using appropriate methods of work as directed.
- Collection and delivery of deceased patients or DOAs to the mortuary using appropriate means of transport. Where required prepare bodies for viewing.
- Ensure correct and appropriate use of radio and other communication equipment at all times in compliance with the local guidelines and procedures.

- Physically fit due to some periods of intense activity/effort including pushing, pulling, standing
