**Female Personal Assistant - Gourock**

**Work pattern**:
**Alternate weeks** (one week on/one week off). Total of **10 hrs worked over Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday**. Plus, flexibility required around other days for social and medical appointments (e.g., QE Hospital, Glasgow). These will be discussed and pre-agreed.

Additional hours will be required for occasional weekend, weekday / tea calls / evening calls due family respite, holidays and work comments, also cover for sickness and annual leave of other PA. The extra shifts will be equally shared between yourself and another P.A.

I am a female wheelchair user with a sense of humour who is looking for a reliable, flexible, kind and honest person.

**Essential support**:

- Personal care, including organisation of weekly medication.
- Light domestic tasks, including meal preparation.
- Driving to social and medical appointments
- Use of commode/shower chair and ceiling track hoist.
- Empathy and understanding of personal needs and autonomy.
- To work closely with the employer and her other P.A. to create a happy care team.

No previous caring experience is necessary but willingness to learn is essential and to provide high quality care. I need someone who can drive a wheelchair access car confidently, locally, or further away (e.g., Queen Elizabeth Glasgow).

**Terms**:
**10hrs alternative weeks** - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (one week on / one week off)

**£10.90 per hour**

Please be aware that due to the scarce availability of carers in my area, the notice period that comes with the job currently stands at 8 weeks. Therefore, if you were to hand in your notice, a further 8 weeks of your regular hours would still be required. This can be discussed further at interview.

Membership of PVG scheme is required.
