Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food safety guidelines
- Assist with meal planning and inventory management
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Delivering to local business and homes - must have a driving licence.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar culinary environment
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Gourock (required)
