The HR Talent Manager is a member of the Employee Experience team, which are responsible for the delivery of effective engagement, training analysis, learning and development needs, and workforce planning.
As HR Talent Manager, you will focus on advancing global talent management initiatives to further strategic goals. You will contribute by identifying, developing, and executing initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of performance management and feedbacksystems.
The role also entails delivering on selected pilot projects related to topics such as organisation design and skills mapping. The HR Talent Manager will advise, support, and consult with the HR Leadership Team, regional HR colleagues, and employees and managers.
Key Accountabilities
Performance Management
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on the approach to performance management to ensure its robust and can be consistently applied across our global regions.
- Review performance management policies & processes to identify gaps and process improvements.
- Lead communication & training initiatives aimed to educate line managers and employees.
- Build the continuous performance management toolkit that focuses on developing employees.
- Review, identify and collaborate with the HR Shared Services team to implement enhancements the HR Information System.
Organisation Design
- Support the development of organisation design framework and empower teams to make decisions.
- Consult with HRLT and other necessary stakeholders to review and finalise necessary guiding materials.
- Support requests as a Subject Matter Expert as needed.
Skills Mapping
- Responsible for day-to-day operations and project management of a Skills Mapping pilot project.
- Bring in expertise and knowledge to produce quality outputs and to ensure a well scoped out project and execution plan.
- Support HR Business Partners and Business teams by creating an easy-to-use system for organising information, documents, managing deadlines, and deliverables.
- Provide regular project updates, escalate risks & issues and problem solve issues as needed.
- Experience in a HR specialist role responsible for global implementation. Within a larger multinational this can be positions such as a HR Business Partner with expertise in talent management, job evaluation systems, talent development, organisation design.
- Knowledge in general of HR practices, project management, policy development, process engineering, performance management design and evaluations.
- Ability to build HR strategy in the Talent Management space and communicate effectively.
- Experience with the following tools is ideal: HR information systems, talent management systems, survey platforms, Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated agility and comfortable working in a dynamic group or team environment.
- Demonstrated strengths required in motivating and influencing users of Talent Management protocols and tools.
- Excellent negotiating, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills with cultural awareness.
