Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00 / 08:00 - 17:00 (timings shared with Transport Manager)

45 Hours Per Week

Saturday mornings - 1 in 4 per month, paid separately

£25,000 - £27,000 p/a dependant on experience

28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays)

**About the role**:
As Transport Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operation of the site Weighbridge. You will be the initial point of contact for customers and Clews Recycling drivers as they weigh loads in and out of the Waste Transfer site.
You’ll be responsible for the correct data input to ensure that all loads are properly registered, legally compliant and correctly charged.

As a vital part of a busy Transport Office, you will be required to support the Transport Manager with the taking on and logístical management of our vehicles and the jobs they complete.

The duties of this position are set out below:
Weighbridge Supervision:

- Recording waste movement in and out of Unit 17.
- Supporting customers’ orders and queries.
- Producing waste transfer notes
- Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly clerical records for invoicing and legal requirements
- Handling petty cash for transport office, including scrap monies.
- Assisting with producing sales invoices

Transport Office:

- Answering calls and takin orders
- Providing customer quotations
- Ensuring availability of sufficient skips
- Support the routing of vehicles to achieve maximum efficiency and meeting customer requirements

Further Roles (as required):

- Serving in Rugby Fuel Supplies shop as required
- Co-ordinating breakdowns and repairs (Transport Manager co-cover)
- Arranging servicing of trucks (Transport Manager co-cover)
- Other tasks as required by your manager or MD

- Quick learner with new data inputting systems

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
