The Manufacturing Quality Engineer has direct responsibility to lead all aspects of developing and maintaining agreed quality and other operating standards across the manufacturing team. Liaising and supporting the Head of Quality / Operations Manager withissues that arise in the manufacturing areas to meet internal and customer specific quality standards.

The manufacturing facility is relatively small with a total of 12-15 Operatives and the role will be directly working with the team to ensure compliance to relative standards.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Ensure day to day activities of Final Inspection including paperwork & NDT are complete and in line with business requirements.
- Site receipt and report of returned product, including photographic evidence, recommend any additional work required to investigate fault.
- Record and report any relevant information for company KPI’s.
- Identify and implement new manufacturing processes and streamline existing processes.
- Liaising with the Head of Quality to ensure manufacturing meets specifications for continued compliance.
- Managing training requirements, resource levels and non-conformity correction in manufacturing.
- Working to ISO:9001, 14001 and API 17A.
- Ensure all work is accomplished using appropriate data, tools, and measuring equipment and follows established procedures.
- Auditing (in line with key depts / internal company schedule).
- Carry out in house calibration & certification of torque wrenches, following company Procedure.
- Drive Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Work with management to implement the Company's policies and business objectives.
- Foster a strong team dynamic in the manufacturing team and create an environment of collective diligence and openness.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the manufacturing areas to resolve any issues that arise.

- Confident in liaising with Clients at all levels in person.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas Industry (desirable but not essential).

Hours of work are 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 - 13.30 on Fridays covering 40 hours per week.
