**Job Title: **Head ofBusiness Development - Apprenticeships
**Location**: Home/Field based
**Salary**: £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

**Type**: Full Time, Permanent
KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a successful Training Organisation, who deliver a wide range of Apprenticeship programmes to individuals across the UK. They are looking to appoint a ‘Head ofBusiness Development’ to drive and develop new business,along with maximising existing employer accounts.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience of working as Head of / Senior BD level role within the work-based learning sector.
- Experience of leading and managing a business development team - driving performance and Apprenticeship starts.
- Proven experience of securing new Levy and SME employer accounts for the delivery of Apprenticeships.
- Strong account management experience.
- Proven experience of developing trust, and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Must hold a full, UK driving licence, and flexible with travel.

**Role Overview**:

- Identify and build strategic relationships with key employers, to promote our client's full range of training programmes: Apprenticeships and Commercial provision.
- Responsible for managing a business development team, performance managing and ensuring the team is actively driving Apprentice starts.
- Engage with employers to discuss their training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentice recruitment.
- Give advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms.
- Produce and deliver business growth propositions / presentations at senior level.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
- Forecast and plan for growth and industry changes.
- Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.
- Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis to senior management.
