We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of a Regional head of operations delivery and transformation, UK.

The Head of Operations Delivery and Transformation, HSBC UK is integral to HSBC’s purpose and strategy, playing a valued role in managing for delivery of Operations Transformation and OD&S objectives across Finance, Service, Controls and Colleague within the Market.

Our global team of professionals’ partner with the business to provide trusted insights and forward-looking analysis, accuracy, efficiency, and control to frame and influence business decisions.

The job holder will drive strategy such as target operating model, location strategy, market led journey transformation, Bankwide Operations Transformation (BWOT) strategy and innovation eco system defining the engagement model with the OD&T to support for the operation’s functions within the global business and functions.
In this role, you will:

- Provide data, MI and financial processes reports and commentary to enable the monitoring of business performance across the Operational landscape.
- Conduct reviews and challenges of Global Businesses/Functions operational costs to ensure accuracy and transparency of reducing operational cost through change and transformation programmes.
- Build strong relationships across OD & T to ensure collaborative analysis of Operational costs across the global Businesses, Functions and Regions and assist the market when it comes to financial and headcount planning and forecasting.
- Manage a portfolio of change and transformation programmes within the UK. Operational design strategy, delivering governance, control of cost, Key member of the leadership team in the UK.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Extensive experience in operating at a senior level within complex Financial Services organizations (Banking preferred) and an excellent level of business data analysis experience requiring strong technical and commercial understanding of what drives the numbers reported.
- Experience or knowledge in change and transformation programmes
- Ability to understand and implement Group risk management policies.
- Ability to maintain control, direction, and motivation in an ever-changing environment.
- Proven Operations, Planning and Project management skills.
- Sound understanding of Business-related structure and objectives i.e., Global Businesses/Functions etc.
