Our client, a university based in London is looking for a Security Liaison Officer to monitor behaviour across the campus. This is a part time role working 25 hours Monday-Friday 1300-1800. You need to be immediately available

The main duties of the Security Liaison Officer role are:

- Be a visible presence and contactable whilst on duty to address issues
- Following clear processes of reporting issues using a ticket system to track issues, and making each service owner aware of problems
- Focus on promoting the code of conduct for study environments, supporting embedded teams in each building
- Following a routine patrol across buildings each day
- Empowered to take local informal action to resolve minor issues
- Ensure that an excellent level of customer service is always maintained
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance
- Build and maintain close working relationships with students and all staff on campus
- Ensure the safety and well being of the premises and clients

Skills & Experience
- First aid trained
- Mental Health First aid trained
- Previous experience in a similar position would be ideal
- A valid Frontline SIA Licence
- Great customer service skills, unflappable and diplomatic
- Excellent communication skills
- Operate with a high level of professionalism
- Able to log incidents in daily occurrence books and on line
