**About us**

The Bridge for Heroes is a Charity based in King's Lynn. Our goal is to provide members of the Armed Forces community (serving, veterans and their families) with support and facilities which promote their overall health and well-being (for them to lead meaningful lives), by providing companionship and comradeship alongside information, advice, guidance and activities that promote mental health and well-being.

**Responsibilities**:
As part of the Bridge Team you will support in helping to run the Bridge Centre and Bridge Activity Centre to ensure the services provided are efficient, effective and meet the needs of our beneficiaries who are from the Armed Forces Community. This will include actively listening to Veterans or their dependents, supporting group sessions, providing cooked lunches, serving refreshments and supporting the running of activities which promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

You will also maintain and sustain confidential case notes, keeping clear, concise and up-to-date electronic records using our cloud-based case management system, along with writing case studies and stories

Alongside this you will collaborate with multi-agencies across different sectors in order to establish good working relationships to support both beneficiaries and volunteers and refer beneficiaries to other support agencies

**Experience**:
Working with vulnerable adults

Working alongside people experiencing poor mental health

Working in the Charity sector and/or the British Armed Forces

Preparing healthy meals on a budget

**Salary**: £21,260.00-£23,088.00 per year
