We are also focused on our people. **Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
Are you a fun-loving and motivated person who loves going the extra mile to improve the lives of others?
Is it important for you to have a satisfying job where you feel supported?
If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for
I'm M, I'm 35 and I'm looking for a new person to support me to live my life I have my own flat in Falkirk with my own garden that I'm looking forward to going into in the dry weather. I have someone to support me 24 hours a day to ensure I'm safe and that I can do the things I want to do.
I have a learning disability, autism, OCD and Epilepsy and would love someone to join my team who will take the time to understand me. In my spare time, I love doing jigsaws, watching films, being outdoors (especially going for walks) and spending time with my friends and family.
My team work really well together to ensure I have what I need and they help me with things like:
- Supporting me with medication
- Cooking and cleaning
- Managing my home and finances
Since I receive support 24 hours a day, I would like someone who can be flexible to my needs and support me during the week, at the weekend and overnight. My support worker team work from 10am - 10.15am the next day and I have a sleepover in place 10pm-7am in my home in case I need support.
I'm currently looking for **bank Support Workers** to join my team.
**Your values**:
I like to be supported by people who respect me and my home, but who also like to have fun
I like people who are reliable, honest and calm, so that I can trust them and know that they have my best interests at heart.
It’s important that you can communicate well and get along with the other people in my team.
**A Place I belong**
Here at Community Integrated Care we aim to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive employer, where all colleagues feel they belong. We want to an organisation that is truly fair and equal to all - where individual diversity is valued, unique characteristics celebrated and everyone feels able to bring their true selves to work.
By encouraging and embracing a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, capabilities and viewpoints, we will build a stronger, richer, more vibrant workforce, which reflects the people we support, and the communities in which we work. It helps us make better decisions, bring fresh ideas and become a true provider and employer of choice.
We have a really clear plan to achieve this called A Place I Belong. This publicly sets out the promises we’ve made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there. Yo
