Dairsie Autopoint is a family run business, trading for over 50 years.

We operate a commercial garage with petrol filing station and vehicle sales, specialising in the leisure market.

We also undertake servicing, repairs, MOT’s and conversions from two sites.

We’re recruiting for a Mechanic / Apprentice Mechanic to work at our site located in Dairsie, Fife

**Hours**

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.00pm, Every Second Saturday 9am - 1pm (average 39.5 Hours per week).

**The Role**

As a Mechanic / Apprentice Mechanic for Dairsie Autopoint, you will assist workshop staff to safely prepare our customers' vehicles for the road ahead.

This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and physical role and likes working as part of a team.

**Main Duties**
- Assist with vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance.
- Road testing to check repairs.
- Assist with MOT testing
- Undertake diagnostic work on customer cars, vans and campervans.
- Ensure that any parts needed are ordered.
- Liaise with customers on delivery & collection of their vehicle as well as discussing faults

and issues.
- Fitting of accessories.
- Assisting at service reception.
- Maintain Internal Records.
- Pickup and delivery of vehicles
- Working as part of a team.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by line manager.

**Essential skills**
- Full UK driving license.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take part in a wide variety of tasks to build experience.
- Ability to accurately follow written and spoken instruction.
- Ability to deliver quality customer service.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach.
- Punctuality and reliability is a must**.**

**Desirable skills**
- Workshop / Mechanic experience preferred but training can be provided for the right
- Qualification in Vehicle Maintenace /Repair, support may be available.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Driving Licence (required)
