**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a Machine Shop Floor Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our machine shop operations and contributing to the manufacturing of precision components. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting machine shop operators in setting up and operating machinery, such as CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.

Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Monitoring machine output, inspecting parts for quality and accuracy, and reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Collaborating with the team to optimize production processes and improve efficiency in machining operations.

Assisting with assembly tasks and performing basic mechanical measurements.

Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of machining processes and familiarity with common machine shop tools and equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
