We currently have vacancy for a Personal Advisor within our Care Experienced Team. This is a role primarily supporting young people aged 16-25 years of age and their pathway to independence. The role is 37 hours per week.

This challenging but rewarding role will see you responding to, co-ordinating and delivering a range of social care services to young people and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area. We work closely with our colleagues across the service and have established partnerships with agencies across health, education, support services and adult services to ensure we can respond as effectively as possible to the needs of these young people.

Our team is based at Civic Centre in Keynsham with the Children, Young People and Families Service and we are looking for an enthusiastic worker to join our team. You will experience a culture of mutual support amongst team members and receive formal supervision on a regular basis and appropriate training. You will need to be committed to using a wide range of skills to promote and safeguard the welfare and development of young people and assist them individually and alongside their carers in creative and innovative ways to ensure timely care and support planning and intervention.

**About you**:

- Experience of working with children, young people and families in a variety of settings
- Ability to form positive working relationships with children, young people, parents and carers
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and guidance pertaining to children and young people and leaving care legislation
- IT skills to enable operation of standard electronic systems
