**Job description**

As a Nursery Practitioner at Smart Kids Nursery, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and well-being of children under your care.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supporting Learning and Development**: Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and educational programs to promote the physical, social, and emotional development of children.

**Child Care**: Provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.

**Observation and Assessment**: Observe and assess children's progress, recording their achievements and any areas for improvement.

**Health and Safety**: Ensure a safe and clean environment by following health and safety regulations and taking appropriate actions in case of emergencies.

**Communication**: Build strong relationships with children and their families, maintaining open and effective communication.

**Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with experienced practitioners, gaining knowledge and skills from their expertise.

**Professional Development**: Engage actively in your position and demonstrate a commitment to learning and improvement.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Passion for working with children and a desire to pursue a career in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
- Level 3 Qualification in Childcare.
