Format Graphics are a specialist Large Format printers based in Milton Keynes, specialising in direct to media and dye sublimated têxtiles.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Pre-Press Large Format Digital Print Operator to join our busy team, working with many types of printers and finishing equipment to time critical deadlines.

Primarily working on Vutek printers, the company has also invested in the print and finishing technologies including Zund cutters, Tekcel CNC, Dye Sublimation, Resin and Solvent.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operating large format printers (Vutek, Epson & AGFA )
- File preparation of customer supplied artwork for printing and cutting
- Liaising with the team and directly with clients regarding artwork and production as required
- Ensuring the printed products are of a high quality and on time
- Work well under pressure on numerous projects simultaneously
- Responsibility for general cleanliness as part of the daily routine
- Being part of the team is key with the flexibility to move around di erent printers andfinishing machines, previous experience is therefore desired on finishing machines.**Skill’s you'll need**:

- Competent in all aspects of file preparation for printing and cutting
- Be skilled in manipulating and creating artwork in Adobe Illustrator
- Good understanding of Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience in RIP’s preferably Caldera
- Self-motivated with good organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Work well under pressure ensuring deadlines are met
- Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required including weekends.
- Developing knowledge of the print/design industry, keeping up to date with new materials andproducts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of materials, finishing and installation methods
- Excellent time keeping., Permanent Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
