Due to internal promotion, we have a fabulous opportunity for a Senior Procurement Officer to join our busy procurement team. You will be primarily supporting the Category Manager, working on goods/services and works contracts.

As you will expect, this will include:

- Running tenders for materials and services.
- Supplier performance management.
- Ensuring suppliers adhere to relevant regulations and our values.
- Negotiating and maintaining our product pricing portfolios.
- Specialist materials and services sourcing.

This role is being offered on a

**permanent **basis and will be based in our

To be considered for the role of Senior Procurement Officer you will be / have:
The skills, knowledge, and experience required for a Level 1 - Team Member role, along with the below role specific requirements:

- Experience of administering all aspects of procurement procedures and systems, ideally with experience of sourcing and procuring within a public sector environment.
- A good level of understanding of equalities and diversity as applied to the service.
- Knowledge of the Social Housing Sector. (D)
- Knowledge of Public Procurement Regs/EC directives. (D)
- Demonstrates an awareness of building construction and maintenance materials and fittings. (D)
- Excellent IT skills - proficient in the use MS Office.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A motivated and proactive approach in all areas of work.
- Extensive experience in public sector/construction/building maintenance.
- Experience of working in a repairs and maintenance environment. (D)
- Tenacity for delivery and personal accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
