Job Title: Area Business Manager - Commercial Boilers and Heat Pumps

Area to be covered: Midlands
Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + 30% Commission
Benefits: Fully expensed Hybrid Car + Comprehensive Benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Commercial Boilers and Heat Pumps will involve:
- Field sales position selling a high end range of commercial boilers, plus a new range of renewable products including; air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, PV, photovoltaic and Solar Thermal
- Currently 60% of the revenue come from the commercial boilers and 40% the heat pumps, but this is ever changing due to the growth from the renewables market
- 60% of your time selling into M&E contractors
- 40% specification sales focused with M&E consultants, consulting engineers and local authorities
- Inheriting an area with a turnover of approx. £400,000
- Tasked with growing the area to £1.2m
- Re-building an area which has not had a dedicated field sales resource for 6 months
- 80% new business development role
- Inheriting an established contact list of M&E consultants and M&E contractors
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Commercial Boilers and Heat Pumps with:
- Commercial boiler or heat pump field sales experience
- Sold to specifiers (M&E consultants, consulting engineers and local authorities) and/ or M&E contractors
- Contacts within M&E consultants, consulting engineers, local authorities and M&E contactors is not essential but may be useful
- Technically capable
- Plumbing and heating industry experience
- Dedicated new business hunter with a strong character
- Autonomous in approach
- Good solid work ethic and 'get up and go’
- Trustworthy and self motivated
- Resilient character, outgoing and strong communicator/ presentor
