**Responsibility**
The Sales and Administrative assistant will directly report to the Finance Manager UK & Eire and will be responsible for providing general support for the effective operations of administrative sales duties, bookkeeping, and administrative services.
**Main activities**
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for issues related to customer orders, account statutes, shipment, and payments.
- Perform, through the system, the goods receipt in the inventory and post the purchase invoices in accounts.
- Raise sales invoices and release for shipment.
- Liaise with logistic partner to ensure timely deliveries
- Assist the Showroom Manager with the proper inventory management.
- Maintain accounting records by making copies and filling documents.
- Process payments and documents such as invoices, employee reimbursement and statements.
- Perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations.
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
- Enter, update, and retrieve accounting data from automated system.
- Post financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated system.
- Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Liaise with suppliers if necessary.
**Experience and Education***:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or qualified Accountant.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clerical accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel.
- Familiarity with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Knowledge of FRS102 is desirable.
**Technical and Soft skills***:
- Professional English proficiency. Knowledge of Italian would be an advantage
