**_Petrofac is seeking a Principal Planning Engineer - _**_Contractor for 12 months based in Woking, UK._**

**Scope of Services**:

- Responsible for Leading and carrying out planning activities on a significant EPC project.
- Prepare baseline EPC schedule for significant project
- Assist in the development of procedures for the project integrated planning process
- Prepare manpower loading requirements and coordinate with HOD for deployment of required resources.
- Implement progress measurement system and monitor progress update against baselined schedule, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions
- Prepare project reporting for internal and client management.
- Carry out schedule risk analysis
- Confirm regularly that all work within the schedule can be completed, by ensuring that all resources in personnel and material are available to liquidate the various workscopes.
- Liaise with other teams, vendors and subcontractors, to guarantee accurate integration within the overall plan
- Ensure work plans and schedules minimise risk and conflict. Schedule multi-discipline jobs such that exposure to risk is eliminated/minimised
- Attend the weekly planning meetings
- Develop systems and procedures for project control functions and as and when there are additional requirements from the client in order to facilitate the monitoring of engineering, procurement and construction & commissioning works
