Principal Planner

**_Petrofac is seeking a Principal Planner - _**_Contractor for 10 months based in Woking, UK._**

**_ The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage._**

**Scope of Services**:
The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.

A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment.

Undertakes all planning activities on a defined project. The Principal Planner is capable of performing general duties with no direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets. The Principal Planner will be responsible for preparation and reporting against the project schedule. The role will include liaison with other disciplines to achieve schedule consistency. The Principal Planner will provide necessary input and support to project progress and reporting.

Services to be delivered during the duration of the contract are detailed below:

- Prepare and maintain project schedules and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and deviations from original proposal/ contract by raising technical queries with projects / client.
- Monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
- Analyze the project data and communicate the project performance to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Preparation of project specific planning procedures
- Prepare manpower loading and work breakdown structure.
- Prepare project reporting for engineers, construction planning, schedule risk analysis, progress and corrective actions and critical path analysis.
- Capable of resolving and high profile issues, with collaboration with from Project Controls Engineer and Project Management.
- Prepare and make presentations to project teams and client on schedule control methodologies and procedures used by the company.

**Deliverables**:
Services should be provided to produce the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.

Key deliverables to include:

- Project specific procedures
- Project baseline schedule in Primavera P6 and associated work breakdown structure, resource plan and s-curve
- Productivity data
- Maintain Technical Document Register
- Weekly and monthly progress reports
- Weekly and monthly schedule updates
