The role: Residing in the heart of the Queens Quarter, House Belfast hotel and bar is designed with elegance, comfort and you in mind. The venue strives to combine business and pleasure when you stay in one of 31 beautifully designed boutique bedrooms. We are looking to add an Events & Bookings Co-ordinator to our exciting team, to expand our already bustling business. This person will work alongside our existing Heads of Department reporting directly to the Events & Bookings Manager.

**Key duties will include**:

- Work closely with management, converting leads into bookings taking an active role in sales generation
- Maximising revenue & profitability from opportunities around events.
- Ensure that event details are accurately recorded - including dates, resources, financial, logístical requests, customer contacts details.

Plan, organise and oversee a wide range of events such as weddings, corporate bookings, baby showers, charity functions
- Provide technical information about the venue’s offer to customers and advise on layout and services.
- Ensure that plans are effectively communicated both internally & externally, working closely with the wider team.
- Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork to provide excellent guest service.
- Dealing with customer feedback
- Address problems and troubleshoot accordingly
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- BELFAST: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Event Management: 1 year (preferred)
