**We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting & Events Co-Ordinator in the Clayton Hotel Belfast**

**Objective of the Role**

Reporting to the HOD, the Meeting & Events Co-Ordinator is an individual who makes sure that a huge part of this department is kept functioning at all times.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- To offer the highest level of guest service in all meeting & events ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
- To meet & greet all corporate guests who are attending a meeting or event in the hotel.
- To check set ups for corporate guests.
- To post meetings & events charges
- Gathering & collating client feedback.
- To handle customer complaints if they occur.
- Referring customer leads to the sales department.
- To assist with any changes that might occur on the day of an event/conference.
- To check and send out client invoices.
- To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs.
- To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
- To enhance the guest experience.
- To ensure that the M&E areas have safe working practices and that all spillages etc are tended to without delay.
- To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your departments standard operating procedures, particularly room set ups.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with customers
- An excellent command of the English language
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Be a strong team player
