Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a HR Specialist for a leading distribution business. The role will support the Deputy HR Operations Manager who is accountable for c1200 heads across Transport and Depots
The role will foster a culture of service excellence within Operations. This is a key role which is crucial to the development, deployment and implementation of HR processes, policies and procedures.
Principal accountabilities in the role will include:

- Support the implementation of HR strategies and policies to proactively support the business objectives
- Support the implementation of major change projects, processes and programmes across the business area
- Maintain good relationships with Union Reps to ensure that the recognition agreements are embraced and develop the relationship between unions and the Company
- Operating within a complex, cross-discipline environment, managing multiple and fluctuating project accountabilities
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

- Preferably CIPD Level 5 or 7 or equivalent, demonstrable experience
- HR experience within a fast paced manufacturing/distribution sector
- Demonstrate a positive, collaborative and 'can do' attitude to the business demonstrating a good level of general commercial business awareness
- Able to demonstrate a strong ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including Directors
- Demonstrate a proven ability to support, communicate, influence and negotiate at all
- The ability to travel as and when needed
The post holder must be able to drive as the role will include travel to other sites.
