**Lunchtime Supervisor**

**Position**: Mid-Day Supervisor - Assisting SEND Students with Complex Needs at lunchtime.

**Hours**: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm (Part-Time); Monday - Friday

**Location**: Wimbledon, London

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mid-Day Lunch Supervisor to join our team and support students with complex needs during their lunchtime. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our SEND students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support and supervise students with complex needs during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist students with their individual needs, such as feeding, personal care, mobility, and communication.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging social interaction and peer relationships among students.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and progress, and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Implement behavior management techniques and de-escalation strategies, as required.
- Encourage and promote independence and self-help skills among students, fostering their confidence and self-esteem.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience working with students with complex needs, preferably in an educational or care setting.
- Understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by students with complex needs.
- Knowledge of relevant strategies and techniques for supporting students with communication, mobility, and personal care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with complex needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating and communicating with colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
