**_ About the role_**

The Trust-Wide A level Lead Teacher - (Chemistry) will assist the Trust-wide Subject Leads in Science and Education Director (Secondary) in supporting curriculum and teacher development in science, particularly in A level Chemistry and trust responsibility for online A-level learning.

**_ Part-time (0.4) hybrid with attachment to one of our base schools._**

**_ Who we are looking for_**
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Knowledge of current educational developments and issues.
- Capacity to develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate initial and in-service training of Chemistry teachers so as to ensure that developments in Chemistry curricula are understood, further developed, enthusiastically embraced and efficiently taught by teachers of Chemistry at all levels of development.
- Experience of successful leadership and curriculum development in Chemistry education.
- Proven track record of securing strong academic performance and raising standards of achievement through student outcomes in Chemistry.
- A passion for education and particularly the teaching of Chemistry.
