**THIS ROLE IS ONSITE - MONDAY TO FRIDAY 40 HOURS A WEEK**

**Role overview**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly successful and growing company as a Purchasing Administrator. As a key member of our Purchasing team, you will support both the Purchasing assistant and Manager with all administration tasks, completing them to a high standard within the allocated timeframe. You will follow company policy and procedures to ensure our suppliers and customers receive a first-class service as well as working closely with sales, warehouse and transport departments. This role will also support other areas of the business as required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the purchasing team with day to day tasks
- Ensure supplier information is kept up to date on the system
- Ensure pricing is correct and up to date on the system
- Keep product information up to date and accurate on the system
- Keep other departments up to date on products/stock status
- Load and place purchase orders (when required)
- Review purchase order acknowledgments from suppliers and raise and resolve any disputes
- Liaise with other departments within the business
- Chase up outstanding inbound deliveries and confirm due dates with suppliers
- Notify suppliers of discrepancies on delivery
- Assist with booking in deliveries (if required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £23,795.20 per year

- Administrative: 2 years (required)
- Procurement: 2 years (preferred)
