**GP Receptionist**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Receptionist to join our thriving practice on a part time basis to provide high quality care to our patients. We are currently looking to recruit for two roles, one for 32 hours and one for 28 hours and these will be between the hours of 7.45am - 6.30pm from Monday-Friday. We are a high-achieving, well-organised practice and use Vision as our clinical computer system.

**Main duties of the job**

Offer general assistance to the whole practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone

Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way

Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team

Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated

Ideally to be considered for this role you will be:

- Experienced working in healthcare
- Experienced working with computer systems (ideally Vision)
- Experienced in Information Governance/Data Confidentiality
- Friendly, caring manner
- An excellent communicator
- Flexible
- Team player
- Open and honest with a high level of integrity
