Chesterfield Royal Hospital has three CT scanners, two at its main site at Calow and a third mobile CT scanner based at Walton Community Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who would like to join our small friendly team. Your base hospital would be Walton but you would rotate between both Chesterfield and Walton.

All the scanner will operate from 8am - 8pm, 7days a week, with scanners at Chesterfield also covering Bank Holidays.

The role involves working on both on the mobile CT scanner and in the main CT department, to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the CT service by providing clinical and administrative support and enhanced clinical skills to deliver a high-quality service to all out patients.

Clinical Support

**Assist the Imaging Team in the care of the Patient, by**:
1. Helping patients undress (if necessary) prior to examination
2. Cannulate patients
3. Assist during examination/procedures giving care and reassurance
4. Assist patient for discharge and inform of results procedure
5. When requested, chaperone patients during their examination
6. Escort patients to and from CT
7. Co-ordinate, book and attend appointments
8. Assist with the processing of images and post examination documentation.
9. Maintain a tidy and safe department ensuring rooms are adequately stocked with linen and other materials/equipment.
10. Ensuring that the Trust’s Prevention and Control of Infection policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all
