This position is located at our corporate office in London, United Kingdom.

Overview:
The Global Head of Operations Finance is part of the senior leadership team and reports into the CFO as well as COO. The position is responsible for providing holistic financial leadership and support for the hotel operations finance function of the group. This includes strategic planning and forecasting, business analytics, external partnerships, controls, internal and external reporting, oversight of the department and other financial support and accounting support of the business.

The role requires a broad level of communication and leadership at all levels with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders. The Global Head of Operations Finance oversees Aman’s hotel finance functions and manages a global team in corporate offices as well as working closely with property-based finance teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversight of the financial performance of Aman’s operations, including resorts and residences
- Working closely with the CFO, COO and other members of senior management to help direct, control and lead the company’s finance function
- Manage and direct the corporate finance operations team including Regional Financial Controllers, Assets Managers, as well as Director of Internal Control
- The timely and accurate execution of our annual budgeting process
- Oversight of the properties’ accounting, CapEx, and annual auditing process
- Oversight of inventory and maintenance of all fixed and financial assets as well as systems of internal control to safeguard assets
- Review and approve all Aman operations contracts including purchasing contracts and HMAs
- Impacting the financial model strength by developing benchmarks and best practices from quarterly P&L’s
- Fosters and cultivates business opportunities and partnerships
- Strong execution requirement: ability to build a robust finance organization with strong systems, processes, checks and partner strongly with the long-term expansion plan of the organisation
- Strong commercial acumen along with business partnering ability. Working closely with business and costing, procurement strategies and help in devising /evaluating franchise effective franchise model for expansion
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget with various departments, financial forecasts, and report variances. To develop the MIS structure (dashboards) as may be required by management
- Driving initiatives for efficient operating cash-flow management and streamline payables and receivables cycles. To ensure controls are built in for timely collection and reconciliation of cash as well deposit of same in the bank. To build credit checks and ensure tight debtor management. Effective working capital management strategies across multiple stores
- Ensure coverage against financial as well as operating risks by streamlining of business processes and policies
- Compliances for direct and indirect tax requirements, secretarial, legal, and other statutory compliances
- Strengthening the Internal Audit department and getting the internal audit completed as per the Management expectation
- Manage the expectations of the stakeholders through providing them monthly MIS, accounts, cash flows statements, and legal compliance reports
- Closely work with all department heads to ensure expenditures, adhere to legal and budgetary requirements
- Manage internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Strong leader with a demonstrated track record of building teams and culture across multiple geographic locations with the ability to motivate and inspire
- 10+ years’ in leadership roles in various finance functions in hospitality operations and corporate oversight
- In depth understanding of hotel finance operations
- Has extensive knowledge of financial principles
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and rules governing work requirements
