**Your new opportunity**

Quarriers Westview Care Home based in **Greenock **has been established since 2001 providing residential accommodation and support to a maximum of eight adults. We are currently recruiting part time, **Support Workers** offering 20-30 hours per week to join our dedicated team. The service has two properties in close proximity. The main house is a large detached villa and The Coach House was purpose built in the grounds of Westview. Our ethos is building a relationship with each individual, establishing trust and bringing together a person centred support to deliver the best residential care.

**Working pattern**:We are offering part time, permanent contracts between 20-30 hour per week. To meeting the needs of the people we support and ensure support is offered 24/7 you will work based on a planned rota which will include early, late & weekend shifts on a rotational basis. There will also be additional sleepover shifts and those are paid at an hourly rate of £10.90.

**What you will need to bring to the role**
- Compassion, understanding and ability to work under pressure.
- Confident in work with people 1:2:1 and in a community-based setting.
- Ability to identify and respond affectively to individual emotional support needs.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and able to record care planning.
- Driving licence is essential.
