**The Company**
Our client is a highly respected firm who prides themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients and creating a supportive working environment for their staff. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistantto join their team in London. You will be reporting direct to the Company Managing Director providing knowledge and support.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
- Preparing statutory accounts.
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Recording and filing cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Invoice processing and filing.
- Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Answering incoming Customer enquiries regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Provide Administrative support for operations team.
**Key Skills/Experience Required**
- At least 3 years’ experience within a Finance Department
- Studying AAT - Level 2 Preferable
- Experience using (XERO)
- Working within the Constrution industry Desirable but not essential
- Experience of managing a complex and demanding workload
- Ability to make well informed decisions based on all available relevant information
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a range of clients
- Good written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Advanced IT skills
