**Activities Coordinator** Salary**:£13.15** per hour

**Location**: Baycroft Orpington

**Hours & Shift Pattern**:30 hours per week, 4 days at 7.5 hours per day, 9:30 am
- 5pm or 10am to 5:30pm including alternate weekends

We are now recruiting a dynamic **Activities Coordinator** to join our Care team and support us in delivering nutritious food and market-leading care to our residents. We are looking for someone who has some experience planning and carrying out activities with older people and who has worked in a similar setting such as a residential home or day centre.

**And in return, you will be responsible for**:

- Collaborating with the nursing and senior staff to assess strengths and capabilities of each resident in regard to the activities of daily living.
- Developing and overseeing an active living programme for each resident, which supports mobility, social contact, independence, and fun.
- Devising simple and safe activities which encourage movement and maintain joint flexibility and functional use of hands and fingers in activities.
- Ensuring that any risk assessments have been carried out prior to any new planned activity or event.

This role will require an enhanced DBS and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa sponsorship at this time.
