We have an exciting opportunity for a Welcome Host to join our team at Tottenham Hale Station. Please note that this is a fixed term contract expected to last 12 months.

**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to provide a safe environment whilst delivering effective customer service and seeking opportunities to enhance customer experience at our station.

Creating a welcoming environment whilst providing pro-active assistance to our customers on and off trains is important in this role.

Your responsibilities include all matters regarding to safety, security, cash regulations and maintenance of the ticket machines. You will be responsible for carrying out winter precautions as per station arrangements. Responsible for maintaining security.

This role also involves station cleaning in order to uphold the appearance of our station and security checks as part of the station security plans (SSP) (dependent on the station there are varying levels of security checks - from every 30 minutes to twice a day
- looking for left items, waste bins being secure, and doors being shut and / or locked etc)

Earliest start time 06:00. Latest finish time 23:30. Finish time may be extended on Event days. This role includes carrying out regular station security checks, as well as assisting passengers, ramp deployment, luggage assists etc.
