Oasys Technologies Ltd is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative, high efficiency equipment for the production of ISO plastic cards.

Oasys are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter/Wireman (Permanent or Contract) to work in a small and busy team. You will be required to perform various tasks in a busy manufacturing production facility. This role requires a high level of manual dexterity as the main activity involves detailed assembly work.

**Main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Ability to read and understand technical electrical (control and power) schematic drawings and wire the equipment to these drawings, including:

- Control panel / cabinet assembly and wiring, including PLC systems
- Power cabinet assemble and wiring
- Machine wiring
- Understanding of pneumatic systems
- Understanding of basic hydraulic systems
- Adhering and working to health and safety legislations
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
- Complete given tasks in an efficient, fast and friendly manner
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Applicable Apprenticeship and/or time served or relevant qualifications (C&G, BTEC or equivalent)
- Experience of wiring control panels, including PLC control system and Power distribution systems
- Good inter-personal skills, team work, hands-on approach with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working on bespoke machine assembly would be desirable
- Ability to be proactive and work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work methodically and to high standards
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of hydraulics systems desirable
