Our community healthcare teams in adults/children's services are employed by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and deployed to us, linking closely with our colleagues in Manchester Local Care Organisation.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to work within our mixed-skill School Health teams, supporting the Service in the delivery of a range of health services to an identified school-age population, including their families and carers, within the Trafford areas. You will work under the direction of, but without continual supervision from, the School Nurses. Successful applicants will be based within one team however there may be occasions when you are required to work across all bases to cover service needs.

Ideally with NNEB/NVQ Level 3 qualifications, you must be pro-active and enthusiastic with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. You must be able to work using your own initiative and be computer literate. Post holders need to be able to work flexibly and innovatively with other children’s services colleagues. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Previous experience of working in a children’s/community setting would be an advantage.
